♦ The bass, mid and high frequencies of a track can be altered. ♦ If the track you are about to mix into the main mix has a lot of bass in it, you should consider temporarily removing some of this bass when you bring it into the mix to avoid bass clash or frequency saturation. When both tracks are in the mix together, the EQ will determine which tracks frequencys are dominant. You can graudually increase the bass level of the track staying in the main mix to normal levels as the other track is mixed out. ♦ You can customise the effective EQ range within the settings. You can also alter the EQ preset to provide a one click way of adjusting the EQ up or down very easily. The EQ kill buttons, marked "X", completely reduce the particular frequency as much as possible within the range you specify. To quickly restore the EQ to normal, just click "reset".
