EQ ♦ Manual / Cross fading Recording Mix safety

♦ When you are happy with the beat match, you are ready to mix the track into the main mix.

♦ You can either manually mix the track into the main mix, or use a cross fader to help you to do this. The cross fader simultaneously works 2 mix faders, so the cross over is done in a more controlled manner.

♦ With a manual mix, you manually control the each mix fader whilst continuing to monitor the track being brought into the mix.

♦ With a cross fade, you tell each deck it is going to collaborate in the cross fade by initially pressing the 'A' or 'B' button on 2 decks. The cross fader will appear.

♦ The way in which the cross fader moves the deck's faders is determined by the drop-down list in the upper-center of the cross fader. The choices are linear, power and extreme.

♦ The 'power' & 'extreme' cross fading styles help to eliminate the dip in output volume when you cross fade 2 tracks together. A very usefull addition to a cross fade.

♦ The two smaller sliders under the main cross fader allow you to set the maximum volume value for the 'A' and 'B' mix faders, so the cross fader doesn't take the mix fader too high.

♦ You can create different mix effects by using the 'Max A' and 'Max B' buttons. These create a fast switch between deck A and deck B.
